We are excited about this new pre-marathon event!
In
lieu of our usual BCRR-exclusive pasta party, this year BCRR will be
participating in a community-wide carbo-loading party that is being
organized by the Houston Area Road Runners Association (HARRA).
This low-cost event is designed to be inclusive and affordable,
welcoming all members of the Houston running community to come together
before the Chevron Houston Marathon Weekend.
BCRR is partnering with the Houston Striders to sponsor Jordan Hasay, accomplished professional runner, as the speaker for the event (thank you to Lisa Thompson
for facilitating this). Other clubs/groups will be contributing to the
event as well. There will be giveaways and special prizes.

WHAT: HARRA Pre-Marathon Pasta Party

HOW MUCH: HARRA members and students: $15, non-HARRA members: $20
The
ticket for admission includes a catered pasta dinner (meat and
vegetarian options), bread, salad, desert and non-alcoholic beverages.

This will be a great opportunity for harmonization with others in our Houston running community! Importantly, we will have fun, make new friends and showcase what our great club has to offer!
