BCRR Mid Week Update…No Church Parking Tonight!!!

ASH WEDNESDAY REMINDER

Please make alternate parking arrangements for tonight's run. The church parking lot will be reserved for their Ash Wednesday Service. You can find parking in one of the visitors lots at Rice, in Rice Village, or in the neighborhood behind the church- just make sure you check parking signs for any possible restrictions.

BUFFALO WALLOW

We want you to run the Buffalo Wallow 6K this Saturday, February 21st, 2015 at Spotts Park.  Please consider making your mark on race day to help contribute to team points! Here are all the race day details: 
  • Races and Start Time- 8:00 a.m. — Masters Men & Women (40 years old and older) and 9:00 a.m. — Open Men & Women
  • Entry Fee$16 prior to race-day or $5 for those 19 years of age and under, $1 discount for HARRA members registering prior to race day, $20 for all race day registrations, No refunds!
  • Number pick-up and/or in person registration: At Fleet Feet Sports February 20th, Noon - 6 p.m. ONLY 2408 Rice Blvd., Houston, TX 77005, 713-520-6353Race day registration and chip pick up no later than 45 minutes before your race.

If you are not running the Bayou City Classic 5K/10K, please volunteer!

Please show your support for the Houston running  community, your Club, HARRA, and Houston City Parks by volunteering on Saturday, March 14, 2015 for the Bayou City Classic 10K and 5K.  HARRA needs your help as an experienced runner in filling volunteer spots for key race support positions.  Please help make the race safe and fun for your fellow Club members who are racing.  All proceeds from this race go to the Houston Parks Department. Also, Bayou City Classic volunteers will receive a t-shirt and earn HARRA VVIP volunteer points.

Yes, since 2014 was the year of the rear, when the internet was broken more than once by the well endowed derrière, our theme all be "All about that Bass (Base)". We will celebrate big bottom-dom channeling the likes of Kim K, Nicki Menaj, etc.  Everyone welcome. We will leave no one(s) behind!
