HARRA Cross Country Relay - THIS SATURDAY
 
The HARRA Fall Series begins with the Cross Country Relay at Stude Park - Saturday, September 29th! Your age group captains will be contacting you shortly to organize teams:

Space City 10 Miler - NEXT SUNDAY
Sunday, October 7th, join BCRR in the next fall series race – the Space City 10 Miler! Enjoy a scenic course around the Clear Lake area, with a start & finish at UH Clear Lake. Details and registration can be found HERE.
**There will be NO SUNDAY SUPPORTED RUN in River Oaks! Please race or support your fellow club members instead.**
Following the race, celebrate and commiserate at Cafe Brazil (2604 Dunlavy Blvd) for a post-race brunch. Plan to meet around 11AM - with accurate time to be announced via Facebook prior!

(Friday, September 28th, 2018) Join us at Dan Electro’s Guitar Bar (1031 E 24th St), an eclectic spot featuring live blues music and a purple pool table! Join us for a “Lisa Thompson Happy Hour Selection” starting at 6:30 PM.

Sunday – Whole Foods
(Sunday, September 30th, 2018) Join us immediately following the long run for coffee and breakfast at Whole Foods on Waugh

WEEKLY CLUB RUNS:
Mellow Monday- Join us every Monday for a 3 mile recovery run around Memorial Park at 7:00p.m.Runners who are interested should park on the east side of the parking lot in front of the softball fields off of the Picnic Loop. Following a loop around Memorial, we head to a dinner venue for post running fun.
Wednesday at Rice University: Every Wednesday evening we meet at 6:30 at Rice University (run leaves at 6:40 pm sharp!). All levels are welcome. And the best part is the cheap beer at Valhalla afterwards. Parking is available at First Christian Church/School (1628 Rice Boulevard).
To park in the church parking lot, you need a BCRR bumper sticker. Please see Lisa Thompson for a sticker if you do not already have one.
Friday Speedwork (Memorial Park 5:30 AM): Contact Peter Griffiths for more information-  p_griffiths@bellsouth.net
Sunday Long Run (Memorial Park, 6:30 AM): Meet us at the O mile marker for a 10, 11, or 12 mile route around Memorial Park and through River Oaks. Immediately following the run, join us Whole Foods for coffee and conversation.
**Please note that in cases of inclement weather, i.e. thunder & lightning, group runs will be cancelled for safety reasons. Check the BCRR Facebook Page for the latest updates on run cancellations**
