Be in the room where it happens! Don't throw away your shot!
We are currently soliciting nominations for the 2025-2026 BCRR Board of Directors (term July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027). Several
current members are cycling off the board this year, presenting a
unique opportunity for you to serve as a critical cog in the well-oiled
machine that runs BCRR!
Are
you Board-curious but want a less defined position so you can
contribute according to your strengths? Consider running for a Member At
Large position.
Elections will be held at our Annual Year End Party and Awards Presentation. The details TBA very soon.
Contact houstonBCRR@gmail.com for more information. | | |

Renewal Season is off and running! The
official "running year" for both BCRR and HARRA memberships runs from
June 30th to July1st, so all current memberships will need to be renewed
by July 1st, 2026. Renew now and be good through 6/30/27! Both BCRR and HARRA have
an "Early Bird" registration period so it is easy (and cheaper) to
renew now before June 30, 2026. (Note: anyone who joined or renewed
after 4/1/26 will automatically been renewed for the upcoming year.)
(Note
that Both the current year's membership package and the Early Bird
membership package appear on the BCRR page. Be sure to scroll down to
the Early Bird option!) Save
$5 on both memberships for the upcoming year. If you are a current
HARRRA member, you will save an additional $5 off your BCRR Membership. What a deal! |

BCRR will be partnering once again with the Run in Texas Beer Run Series for the 2nd annual Tejas Beer 5K on May 30th at Tejas Brewery
(2101 Summer St. Houston, 77007). This popular race series consists of
events run from local independent breweries all over Texas.
Participants receive a shirt, beer glass and choice of craft beer. The
post race parties for this series are always great! SIGN UP Use Code HARRA for $5 off.
BCRR
will be manning a water stop and will have our tent at the event. Run
in Texas will make a generous donation for our charities. We encourage
folks to volunteer or run. Also a great opportunity to highlight our club to the beer-loving running community! If you can volunteer, contact houstonbcrr@gmail.com |

|
| | Step Up to Help with Hydration this Summer! |
|
|
|---|
|
We
need a few volunteers to help with hydration stops for our Sunday long
runs starting in June, as several regulars will be unavailable. If
everyone takes a turn occasionally, the workload stays manageable.
This
is a great opportunity to give back to the club. Otherwise, we may need
to change the course to the Bayou route and reduce support to just one
stop during the hottest part of the year.
Please contact Loris at Loris0105@yahoo.com if you can help out. |
