Join us on Sunday, July 12, at 9:00 AM following the long run for a gathering at the Memorial Park Stretching Deck (The Mark Fraser Stretching Deck) as we remember our dear friend, Mark Fraser. For those who are new to the club, Mark was a longtime BCRR member, past president, dedicated volunteer, passionate and competitive runner, and a larger-than-life personality. He passed away suddenly 15 years ago, and we continue to honor the lasting impact he had on our club and the running community. About Mark Fraser Coffee and refreshments from Starbucks will be provided. Come prepared to share your Mark Fraser Stories. This is my last official day as BCRR President!  I was lucky to have 3 terrific Boards during my tenure that made my work easy: (In alphabetical order) Mirna Chang, Joel DuBois, June Harris, Steve Hasson, Anna Helm, Joe Lengfellner, Leyla Østerhus, Dave Piper, Joe and Hope Sellers, Robert Swanson, and Amy Tan. I am grateful for their help, expertise and friendship, and I know that the club is in good hands moving forward under the leadership of Steve Hasson. While I am term-limited from serving as president again, I am not going away, and will continue to help the new board during the transition and beyond.
