BCRR Happy Hour: Favorite Quarantine Buddy and Open Mic Poetry -
Friday, August 21st
On Friday, August 21 Frank and another surprise co-host will present BCRR’s very first Virtual Cutest Quarantine Buddy Contest along with a Virtual Open Mic Poetry/Monologue/Short Story Reading Night! ALL members, families, and trained pets are all welcome to showcase their favorite poetry pieces this club has to offer. The festivities will start at 6:00 PM CT.
For the poetry/monologue/short story reading, we want to emphasize that we are really looking for anything. Quarantine finally gave you the time to dust off that old Robert Frost Book of Poems. For the Cutest Quarantine Buddy Contest we are looking for a short bio of your pet along with a picture.
The only thing we ask is that you perform your reading live in three minutes or less. Please email all photo submissions of your pet along with its bio to Frank Dougherty francis.j.dougherty@gmail.com. If you plan on reading, please email Frank that you will be reading a piece so he can set the schedule. We hope to see you all there!
