The 26th Bayou Bash Relay
was held on Sunday, April 27th at T.C. Jester Park. The event was a
great success - thanks to all volunteers and runners! We had 70 relay teams
toe the line, including one Junior Division team of young runners under
18. Our biggest increase over the last 2 years is in the open divisions
- an encouraging indication of growth for our sport in general - and
for our race in particular! Nevertheless; age has it's advantages. If
one can find 3 other like-wise "seasoned" runners that can stay upright
along the course the chances for a podium position are high!
