Thanks so much to Chuck and Cheryl for hosting the  "Pacing, Pool, Pilsner and Pizza PARTY" last Wednesday in lieu of our regular post-run Valhalla meeting!  Chef Chuck, sous-chef Alan and delivery guy, Jim kept a steady assembly line of delicious pizzas rolling to feed the hungry masses!  Thanks again for your hospitality.

Next Sunday, October 27 is the Houston Half Marathon...a HARRA fall series race.  This year the post race party is back at Sam Houston Park (hooray!).  We need to set up our BCRR tent/potties, etc on Saturday afternoon at 4 pm.  If you think you can help, please let Rosie (rschmandt@yahoo.com) or John P (jrphillips@comcast.net) know.   Also, because of the half-marathon, John P and Rosie will not be putting Gatorade out on the regular River Oaks route on Sunday morning.  We would love to have you join us at the HHM and help boost BCRR back into the #1 club spot in the HARRA fall series competition.  We hope to see you there!!

The BCRR post-post race party is being hosted by the lovely Sam Pace.  Details to follow.   Thanks so much Sam!!
