BCRR will be organizing a supported Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday, January 17th, 2021.
Details for location, set up, and times will be announced at a later date! Participation is open to any **BCRR Member** - Both official virtual participants and supportive running friends are invited to join!
This will be the FINAL email for those who have not renewed their 2020-2021 BCRR Membership. All members who have NOT renewed received a warning email from Andrew Young. If you have not received the email - congrats - you’ve renewed. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for any membership questions.
Alex’s 5K has gone VIRTUAL!! For those new to BCRR - Alex’s 5K is a race to honor the life of Alex, son of Kathi Mahon & Milan Jamrich. Alex’s 5K raises money for three Autism-related charities: Autism Speaks, Avondale House and The Westview School.
Race details and registration can be found HERE! Please help support and participate in this great cause!
The Fall series of Marathon Warm-Up races has begun. Although most of the races are virtual, HARRA will still be awarding Ironfoot awards to everyone that completes the Fall series. HARRA will also be calculating points for Club awards. Club awards are calculated per participation, no times. Since the races are virtual (except for Kia 30K in Sugarland), there will be no team competition.
Please note that times and locations have changed.
Mellow Monday Run:
Location: Herman Park - Lot C
Details: Join us every Monday for a 3 mile recovery run around Memorial Park.
Location: First Christian Church
Details: No water will be provided following the run. Please be mindful of maintaining social distancing prior to and following club runs. We will not be permitted to utilize the restrooms within the church at this time.
