|
The 14th annual edition of our race will take place on Saturday, Nov. 2nd at 8AM. NEW: We will be staging the race from a new venue: Avondale House (3737 O’Meara Drive, Houston, Texas 77025). Avondale House is one of our beneficiaries and was Alex's school. Jay Hendrickson has certified a brand new flat and fast course! Come out and set a new course record! If you would like to volunteer, please contact Christina (christinabcrr@gmail.com) or sign up online HERE. Thanks to all of you, we have raised over $230,000 for autism charities over the last 13 years! We raised $27,000 from last year's race alone! We are confident - with your help - that we can do even better this year! | |

Harvest Marathon Relay - Nov. 3rd Get on a BCRR Team! | Weekend
Double Header: Run for autism charity on Saturday, Nov 2 at Alex's 5K
and run to reduce hunger on on Sunday, November 3 at at the Houston Food
Bank's Harvest Marathon Relay! The Houston Food Bank will be sponsoring a fundraising Relay Marathon, and BCRR is going to sponsor two teams of 10 persons each ($1000 total), so we just need runners! If
we can gather 10 people per team to run 2.5 miles each (1/4 mile at a
time) we can do a good deed for the Houston Food Bank, and get some good
PR for BCRR, and have a lot of fun doing it! BCRR has sponsored teams
for the last few years - run at no cost to you! Contact Steve Hasson
(shasson@earthlink.net) if you are interested in helping out. The
Relay Marathon is Sunday, November 3, at 7:00am, on the Wendell D. Ley
Track at Rice University. photo: S. Hasson |
