Weekend Recap:
THANK YOU to all who helped with the BCRR Spring Garage Sale!
We earned money to pay for club relay teams for the May Bayou Bash Relay!
The BCRR Spring Family Picnic was a blast! Thanks for all who grilled, played ball, and drank beer with us!

Bellaire Trolley Run 5K – April 14th
The next race in the HARRA Spring Series is getting close! The 2018 Bellaire Trolley Run is scheduled for Saturday, April 14th.

Sunday – Whole Foods
(Sunday, April 15th, 2018) Join us immediately following the long run for coffee and breakfast at Whole Foods on Waugh.

WEEKLY CLUB RUNS:
Mellow Monday- Join us every Monday for a 3 mile recovery run around Memorial Park at 7:00p.m.Runners who are interested should park on the east side of the parking lot in front of the softball fields off of the Picnic Loop. Following a loop around Memorial, we head to a dinner venue for post running fun.
Wednesday at Rice University: Every Wednesday evening we meet at 6:30 at Rice University (run leaves at 6:40 pm sharp!). All levels are welcome. And the best part is the cheap beer at Valhalla afterwards. Parking is available at First Christian Church/School (1628 Rice Boulevard).
To park in the church parking lot, you need a BCRR bumper sticker. Please see Lisa Thompson for a sticker if you do not already have one.
Friday Speedwork (Memorial Park 5:30 AM): Contact Peter Griffiths for more information-  p_griffiths@bellsouth.net
Sunday Long Run (Memorial Park, 6:30 AM): Meet us at the O mile marker for a 10, 11, or 12 mile route around Memorial Park and through River Oaks. Immediately following the run, join us Whole Foods for coffee and conversation.
**Please note that in cases of inclement weather, i.e. thunder & lightning, group runs will be cancelled for safety reasons. Check the BCRR Facebook Page for the latest updates on run cancellations**

Get ready for a busy BCRR Weekend!!!
BCRR Spring Garage Sale
BCRR is hosting our Spring Garage sale at the Modern B&B (4003 Hazard St.)
Friday & Saturday - April 6-7th - 8AM to 3PM

We need volunteers to help us with the event at the Modern!
Please drop off or stop by to give a hand and sell your treasures!
Garage sale proceeds will pay for entries to the Bayou Bash Relay for all our BCRR/HARRA active members.

BCRR Spring Family Picnic
Join us Sunday, April 8th for our annual fall family picnic! The picnic will take place at Presidential Palace, 4010 Mandell, from 1 – 5 PM.
BCRR Board will be manning the grill with burgers and hotdogs, feel free to bring a side, dessert, or adult beverage. Wiffle Ball will be making a comeback!!

First Sunday of the Month Bayou Run & Breakfast
Join us Sunday, April 1st for a break from the routine by running along the Buffalo Bayou.
Afterwards, join us for breakfast at Leeland House (2019 Leeland St) a cozy neighborhood bistro and bar!!
