New Criteria for Early Registration for the Houston Marathon and Half-Marathon for 2012

Early registration for "Qualified" Runners - From May 10, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. CST to May 31 at 11:59 p.m. CST. Eligible runners include:

> NEW- Time Qualifiers (Marathon Qualifier: Less than 4 Hours for full/ and less than 1:54:36 for half; Half-Marathon Qualifier- less than 4:11 for full/ and less than 2 hours for half ) Don't understand why half qualifications are more lax than full marathon...

> Runners who have completed 5+ Houston Marathons
> Members designated by HARRA
> Deferred 2011 race registrants

Once early registration closes on May 31, the above list of runners will no longer be eligible to receive a guaranteed race entry and must enter the lottery for a chance to be selected, except for Houston Marathon Veterans (completed 10 or more Houston Marathons) who may register through November 1.
