HARRA hosted a great awards banquet on Sunday night at the St. Arnolds Brewery.  BCRR performed well in the 2013-14 season. This past fall (2013) BCRR won the HARRA Club competition in the Veterans Men, and Masters and Veterans Female divisions, as well as Overall and Female Masters awards in the Fall 2013 Team Competition. This Spring (2014) BCRR took the Club Veterans Male and Female trophies, as well as the Veteran Male and Female Team Awards and the Masters Female Award!!  Individual award winners included:

If your HARRA membership is current, prices are still $20 for individual memberships, $25 for family memberships (CHEAP!!).  Add $5 if you are not a HARRA member.  We will have paper applications this week at Valhalla if you want to pay in person.   This is also a great opportunity to update your contact information (address, phone, email) for our roster.

SOCIAL CALENDER:

Red, White and Brew Happy Hour (July 3, 2014, 7:00pm): Since this is a short week and Friday is a holiday we will move up Happy Hour to Thursday.  Meet at the Petrol Station, (985 Wakefield Drive) at 7pm for a 3-4 mile pub run.  Starts at the Petrol Station and visits about 4 other bars before heading back.  Trail live hared and laid with flour markings. Wear red , white, and blue because," 'Murica!"   

Wednesday July 9th Party Tina and Andrew Kenworthy have graciously invited everyone to join them after the Wednesday night run to enjoy beer, pizza, etc at their house located at 2138 Wroxton Road.

WEEKLY CLUB RUNS
Wednesday at Rice University: 
Every Wednesday ev
ening we meet at 5:45 at Rice University (run leaves at 6 pm sharp!). All levels are welcome. And the best part is the cheap beer at Valhalla afterwards. Parking is available at First Christian Church/School (1628 Rice Boulevard).Friday Hills at Mount Bacon (Tanglewood):Join us for this weekly run from St. Martins Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road to Mount Bacon. We meet in the church parking lot at the corner of Sage Road and Woodway Drive at 5:30 am. We have a 1.3 mile warm-up run to Mount Bacon and do 2 to 4 miles of hills with a 1.3 mile run back to the church.
Sunday Long Run (Memorial Park, 6:30 AM): Join us for the weekly long run from Memorial Park zero-mile marker. We leave promptly at 6:30
 and members typically run between 10 and 15 miles.   Breakfast at Starbucks in Uptown Park, 1151 Uptown Park Boulevard.   *******
