LP Run – Saturday, April 29th
The LP Run is here! The historical race will be run on Saturday, April 28th. The goal is to run as many RPMs (laps) as you can in 33 ½ minutes.

Bayou Bash Relay - Saturday, May 12th
The HARRA club competition is extremely close, so BCRR needs a big turnout at the relay to capture the top spot! The club is covering the cost of racing for all members who are current with BCRR & HARRA. Race details can be found HERE. Your age group captains will be reaching out to you soon to organize teams:

Volunteer Opportunities:
There are several opportunities to volunteer with BCRR this spring:
- Bayou Bash Relay - Saturday, May 12th: John Phillips will need help at the boatshed Saturday afternoon & Sunday morning for equipment pickup/cleanup. Race day, volunteers needed for water support, equipment pick up, food services, and kids games. Please contact Rosie Schmandt: rschmandt@yahoo.com
- Joe Conway Memorial Track Meet - Sunday, May 20th: Volunteers needed for time keeping, results runner, and water stations. Please contact Christina Jones: christinabcrr@gmail.com

Colorado Half Marathon

WEEKLY CLUB RUNS:
Mellow Monday- Join us every Monday for a 3 mile recovery run around Memorial Park at 7:00p.m.Runners who are interested should park on the east side of the parking lot in front of the softball fields off of the Picnic Loop. Following a loop around Memorial, we head to a dinner venue for post running fun.
Wednesday at Rice University: Every Wednesday evening we meet at 6:30 at Rice University (run leaves at 6:40 pm sharp!). All levels are welcome. And the best part is the cheap beer at Valhalla afterwards. Parking is available at First Christian Church/School (1628 Rice Boulevard).
To park in the church parking lot, you need a BCRR bumper sticker. Please see Lisa Thompson for a sticker if you do not already have one.
Friday Speedwork (Memorial Park 5:30 AM): Contact Peter Griffiths for more information- p_griffiths@bellsouth.net
Sunday Long Run (Memorial Park, 6:30 AM): Meet us at the O mile marker for a 10, 11, or 12 mile route around Memorial Park and through River Oaks. Immediately following the run, join us Whole Foods for coffee and conversation.
