It’s time to celebrate birthdays for two wonderful ladies in the club! Lori Fusi & Caitlin Powers will be sponsoring beer & pizza on Wednesday night! Happy Birthday Ladies!!!
Bayou Bash Relay - Saturday, May 11th
The final race of the HARRA Spring Series is here - and so is BCRR’s chance to earn club points! BCRR is covering the entry fee for all members who are current members of BCRR & HARRA. Race details can be found HERE.

**If you are unable to run - we need volunteers for set up, road guards, and water station management!! Please email me to volunteer!!**

After the relay - hang around and enjoy the HARRA Family Picnic! Complete with burgers, beer, and kids games!
BCRR Spring Banquet - Wednesday, May 23rd
Wednesday, May 22nd @ St. Arnold's Brewery (2000 Lyons Ave)
Taps open at 6:30 PM
Tickets will be $15 at the door (cash or check) – this includes dinner from Lasagna House and beer

The Cookie Table is returning! Members are invited to bring their best baked goods to share! We will vote for the best tasting treat to receive an award!

Good-Bye Neeraj!!!!
(Friday, May 10th, 2019) Join us at the former Presidential Palace (4010 Mandell St) for a good-bye celebration in honor of Neeraj! Bring your favorite appetizer and drink - and Neeraj will supply the entertainment!! See you starting around 7PM.
Sunday – Whole Foods
(Sunday, May 12th, 2019) Join us immediately following the long run for coffee and breakfast at Whole Foods on Waugh
Mellow Monday- Join us every Monday for a 3 mile recovery run around Memorial Park at 7:00 PM. Runners who are interested should park on the east side of the parking lot in front of the softball fields off of the Picnic Loop. Following a loop around Memorial, we head to a dinner venue for post running fun.
Wednesday at Rice University: Every Wednesday evening we meet at 6:30 PM at Rice University (run leaves at 6:40 PM sharp!). All levels are welcome. And the best part is the cheap beer at Valhalla afterwards. Parking is available at First Christian Church/School (1628 Rice Boulevard).
To park in the church parking lot, you need a BCRR bumper sticker. Please see Lisa Thompson for a sticker if you do not already have one.
Friday Speedwork (Memorial Park 5:30 AM): Contact Peter Griffiths for more information-
Sunday Long Run (Memorial Park, 6:30 AM): Meet us at the Tennis Center (Old 0 Mile Marker) for a 10, 11, or 12 mile route around Memorial Park and through River Oaks. Immediately following the run, join us Whole Foods for coffee and conversation.
**Please note that in cases of inclement weather, i.e. thunder & lightning, group runs will be cancelled for safety reasons. Check the BCRR Facebook Page for the latest updates on run cancellations**
