HMSA 25K & 10K - Nov. 24th Next HARRA Series Race!

The 39th Annual Houston 25K is the third of three races in the Houston Marathon Warm-up Series, which gives runners who are planning to run the Houston Marathon checkpoints to gauge their training status.    By running the 25K as a HARRA member, you earn Runner of the Season (ROTS) Points for yourself and HARRA InterClub Competition points for BCRR! Save the Date: Coach Andy's 30K - Dec. 8th

The Houston Harriers have revived the 30K, the penultimate race in the HARRA Fall Series, after a hiatus of 3 years. The race has been renamed Coach Andy Stewart's 30K in honor of Andy Stewart, its original founder and pillar of the Houston running community who passed away a few years ago. The race will be held in Sugar Land (essentially on the same course) and will feature a 10K in addition to the 30K.    The race is part of the Marathon Warmup Series, which includes the Space City 10-Miler, the Houston Half Marathon and the HMSA 25K. Weekly Club Runs

Mellow Monday 7 pm at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 3 mile casual paced run around the Park and dinner to follow Wednesday Run 6:30 pm at First Christian Church for a 3-6 mile run around Rice University and Hermann Park followed by drinks at Valhalla Friday Speedwork 5:30 am at Memorial Park Running Center. Contact Peter Griffiths for more info Sunday Long Run 6:30 am at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 10-12 mile supported run w/ water at 2 locations followed by breakfast at Whole Foods in Montrose (701 Waugh Dr Houston, TX 77019)
