Apologies for the tardiness of this week's email. It's been a busy 2 weeks for BCRR!   We ran two (2) HARRA Races (the Law Week 8K and the Bayou City Classic) and provided race support for two (2) events (the Rockets Run on Feb. 16th and the Darling Dash this past Sunday, Feb 23rd). Whew!!   Thank you to Darling Dash volunteers: John Phillips, Joel Dubois, Alan Tillotson, Eric Faria, Susan Cita, Lara Allen, Anna Helm, Shelley Grahmann, Milan Jamrich, and Mike Mangan.    Extra-special recognition goes to Bob Thompson, who created a new race map and marked the course at the last minute due to trail closures on White Oak Bayou. 😄 In addition, many BCRR members were heavily involved in producing the Bayou City Classic, which was on Saturday, Feb 22nd. Special Kudos to race directors Joe and Hope Sellers, who once again pulled together a great event!    Bayou City Classic race committee members and significant volunteers include John Phillips, Kathi Mahon, June Harris, Chad Holmes, Hans Wong, Susan Cita, Michelle Wolpert, Anna Helm,  Lara Allen, Bob Thompson, Alan Tillotson, Joel DuBois, Sharon McNeill, Jonathan Zwickel (sorry if someone inadvertently left off list.)   Well Done BCRR! ­

Deadline: HARRA RotS

Last Call for Changes Feb 28th!   Please check the results for accuracy and send any omissions or changes to Hans (info@harra.org). All results final on 2/28/25.   HARRA's Runner of the Season (RotS) results for the HARRA Fall Race Series are now posted on the LEADERBOARD. Results are based on cumulative age-graded performance for 3/4 races.   The top 3 runners in each division receive a CASH award from HARRA. If you are in the money, please send your current mailing address to HARRA Treasurer Michelle (treasurer@harra.org).

­ HARRA Spring Race Series BCRR is a member club of the Houston Area Road Runners Association (HARRA) and participates in its competitions based on our members' performance in the HARRA Race Series.  Top runners in the individual categories receive cash awards. Rankings can be viewed on the HARRA Leaderboard. Weekly Club Runs

Mellow Monday 7 pm at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 3 mile casual paced run around the Park and dinner to follow	Wednesday Run 6:30 pm at First Christian Church for a 3-6 mile run around Rice University and Hermann Park followed by drinks at Valhalla	Friday Speedwork 5:30 am at Memorial Park Running Center. Contact Peter Griffiths for more info	Sunday Long Run 6:30 am at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 10-12 mile supported run w/ water at 2 locations followed by breakfast at Whole Foods in Montrose (701 Waugh Dr Houston, TX 77019)
