There were lots of marathons/half-marathons this weekend - both local and afar - and BCRR was representing everywhere!   Toyko Marathon Lisa Thompson (3:52:38)   The Woodlands Marathon Suzy Seeley (4:09:20) 2nd F65-69  Joseph Lengfellner (4:30:41) 10th M60-64     Stephen Kallus (4:30:41)   The Woodlands Half Marathon Caryn Honig (1:58:05) 5th F55-59  Amy Tan (1:57:42) 6th F50-54 PR Sam Pace (2:06:58) 8th F50-54             Myrtle Beach Marathon Chadwick Holmes  03:03:06 PR BQ 2nd AG   Myrtle Beach Half Marathon Hans Wong 2:36:18   ...and last weekend...   Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon (what happened there almost stayed there...) Upcoming Events: Poppy's Run for Life - March 9th

BCRR member Caryn Honig started Poppy's Run for Life 5K  in 2023 to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention in memory of her father and grandfather who both died by suicide.    March 9, 2025, 8AM Hennessy Park, 1900 Lyons Avenue, Houston, TX 77020   Join the BCRR team!  Support Caryn's efforts! ­ HARRA Spring Race Series BCRR is a member club of the Houston Area Road Runners Association (HARRA) and participates in its competitions based on our members' performance in the HARRA Race Series.  Top runners in the individual categories receive cash awards. Rankings can be viewed on the HARRA Leaderboard. Weekly Club Runs

Mellow Monday 7 pm at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 3 mile casual paced run around the Park and dinner to follow	Wednesday Run 6:30 pm at First Christian Church for a 3-6 mile run around Rice University and Hermann Park followed by drinks at Valhalla	Friday Speedwork 5:30 am at Memorial Park Running Center. Contact Peter Griffiths for more info	Sunday Long Run 6:30 am at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 10-12 mile supported run w/ water at 2 locations followed by breakfast at Whole Foods in Montrose (701 Waugh Dr Houston, TX 77019)
