This week's Valhalla tab will be sponsored by Alex's 5k & Kids' K, which incidentally is this Saturday, November 1st at Avondale House. We want to show our appreciation for all who have signed up for the race (and guilt the rest of you into participating)! There's still time (see below)!   This will be our 27th week of sponsored Valhalla tabs! The Wednesday run, as always, starts at 6:30PM sharp from the First Christian Church Parking lot. ­ THIS WEEKEND: Alex's 5K - Saturday, Nov. 1st This will be the 15th annual edition of our race. We are in the home stretch for race preparations and encourage everyone to participate by running, volunteering, or donating to our cause. Use code BCRR25 for $5 off at registration. The race benefits Avondale House, The Westview School, and Autism Speaks. We could use more volunteers. Race Info ­ Harvest Marathon Relay - Nov. 2nd Still Time to Get on a BCRR Team! Run for Free! It's Fun! Support the Food Bank! We have space for more runners! Don't be left out! Contact Steve Hasson (shasson@earthlink.net) to get on the team!   The Houston Food Bank is sponsoring a fundraising Relay Marathon, and BCRR is  sponsoring two teams of 10 persons each ($1000 total). Teammates run ~2.5 miles 1 lap at a time. Speed not important.   Kudos to Steve Hasson for arranging this great opportunity to give back and have fun! We will be there at 6:30PM- ish. ­ Sunday Hydration Support There was no supported long run last week die to Half Marathon. This Sunday, Loris Fusi and Jamie Lopez will set out the water and Gatorade for the Sunday long run.                                                       🥛🥛🥛  Who likes water during the Sunday long runs?
