WEEKLY CLUB RUNS:

Mellow Monday- Join us every Monday for a 3 mile recovery run around Memorial Park at 7:00p.m.Runners who are interested should park on the east side of the parking lot in front of the softball fields off of the Picnic Loop. Following a loop around Memorial, we head to a dinner venue for post running fun.

Wednesday at Rice University: Every Wednesday evening we meet at 6:30 at Rice University (run leaves at 6:40 pm sharp!). All levels are welcome. And the best part is the cheap beer at Valhalla afterwards. Parking is available at First Christian Church/School (1628 Rice Boulevard).

To park in the church parking lot, you need a BCRR bumper sticker. Please see Lisa Thompson for a sticker if you do not already have one.

Friday Speedwork (Memorial Park 5:30 AM): Contact Peter Griffiths for more information-  p_griffiths@bellsouth.net

Sunday Long Run (Memorial Park, 6:30 AM): Meet us at the O mile marker for a 10, 11, or 12 mile route around Memorial Park and through River Oaks. Immediately following the run, join us Whole Foods for coffee and conversation.

Mellow Monday Scrabble Run - June 25th

SAVE THE DATE for Monday, June 25th, for a Mellow Monday Scrabble Run to meet the members of your new board!! Board members will be scattered around the loop at Memorial Park with scrabble tiles. Complete the 3 mile route and assemble the highest scoring word to win a prize!

First Sunday of the Month Bayou Run & Breakfast 

Join us Sunday, December 3^rd for a break from the routine by running along the Buffalo Bayou.

Wednesday, December 6^th @ 6:30 pm - start at the Rose Garden

Join us for a special 3 mile run around River Oaks, featuring the festively decorated houses! Afterwards we will celebrate with drinks at Kenneally’s Irish Pub on Shepherd.

Christmas Party

Friday, December 8^th @ 7 pm – Modern B&B (4003 Hazard)

Join us at the Modern B&B for the BCRR Christmas Party! Cost is $10 at the door – which includes a signature cocktail, dinner, and dancing! FESTIVE attire is a must!

Bring your favorite holiday baked treat to compete for Champion of the BCRR Cookie Table!

John’s LOOOOONG RUN – 
Sunday December 17^th

NEW LOCATION and planned 4 weeks prior to Marathon due to Christmas. This is the 17^th year and the 2^nd year for the new site at Sue Leone’s/Alan Svoboda’s Terrace Home (326 Terrace Ave. 77007)

This is open to all BCRR members and guests Start is 6:30 am from The Terrace House. It is a 21 mile single loop route with several ways to adjust the distance. More details to follow!
