Rockets Run
THANK YOU to all who volunteered for the Rockets Run!! We successfully guided all the runners to the finish and a good time was had by all! Thanks to the volunteers, we were able to fulfill our race management duties and earn the club funds for the next great event!

BCRR Garage Sale
BCRR is hosting our Spring Garage sale at the Modern B&B (4003 Hazard St.)
Friday & Saturday - November 29th & 30th - 8AM to 3PM

We need volunteers to help us with the event at the Modern!
Please drop off or stop by to give a hand and sell your treasures!

*The proceeds of our garage sale help fund the club Christmas Party & Relays!*

HMSA Classical 25K - Sunday, December 1st
Get ready for the next race in the HARRA Fall Series - the HMSA Classical 25K, Sunday, December 1st. Registration and additional details can be found HERE.

Post-race part will be held at Andrew & Christina’s (4010 Mandell St.) - more details to follow.

SOCIAL CALENDAR:

Happy Hour - The Toasted Coconut
(Friday, November 22nd, 2019) Head over to the Toasted Coconut (1617 Richmond Ave.) A new tiki bar in the Montrose area. See you starting at 7PM.

Sunday – Whole Foods
(Sunday, November 24th) - Join BCRR at the Whole Foods on Waugh for coffee and breakfast following the *Sunday* long run!

WEEKLY CLUB RUNS:
Mellow Monday- Join us every Monday for a 3 mile recovery run around Memorial Park at 7:00 PM. Runners who are interested should park on the east side of the parking lot in front of the softball fields off of the Picnic Loop. Following a loop around Memorial, we head to a dinner venue for post running fun.
Wednesday at Rice University: Every Wednesday evening we meet at 6:30 PM at Rice University (run leaves at 6:40 PM sharp!). All levels are welcome. And the best part is the cheap beer at Valhalla afterwards. Parking is available at First Christian Church/School (1628 Rice Boulevard).
To park in the church parking lot, you need a BCRR bumper sticker. Please see Lisa Thompson for a sticker if you do not already have one.
Friday Speedwork (Memorial Park 5:30 AM): Contact Peter Griffiths for more information-  p_griffiths@bellsouth.net
Sunday Long Run (Memorial Park, 6:30 AM): Meet us at the Tennis Center (Old 0 Mile Marker) for a 10, 11, or 12 mile route around Memorial Park and through River Oaks. Immediately following the run, join us Whole Foods for coffee and conversation.
**Please note that in cases of inclement weather, i.e. thunder & lightning, group runs will be cancelled for safety reasons. Check the BCRR Facebook Page for the latest updates on run cancellations**
