National Championship Gamewatch
Sue Leone & Alan Svaboda have opened their home for a game watch on Monday, January 13th for the 2020 National Championship game! Wear your purple and gold proudly or obnoxious orange… and cheer on your team! Kickoff is 7PM @ 326 Terrace Drive.

Pasta Potluck Party – Friday, January 17th
The Carb-loading Pasta Potluck will be at The Modern B&B (4003 Hazard) at 6:30PM on Friday. Bring your favorite pasta dish to share and get ready for the marathon!!!

Gear Collection
*** There will be NO gear pick up for distribution to aid stations this year!***

Initial Race Day Details:
BCRR will have 1 sponsored Hoopla Stations. Please email the host below to help cheer on your fellow runners:

An additional watch and/or drop off location for will be located at the corner of Bissonnett & Mandell – With host’s Chuck and Cheryl @ 5314 Mandell. Feel free to drop off clothing as the race temperature rises. Clothing will be brought to the post-race party.

BCRR Post Marathon Party
The post-race party will be hosted by Sue & Allen - with co-hosts Chuck & Cheryl - at their Terrace home - 326 Terrace Drive. Homemade food, cold (adult) drinks, and a hot tub are ready to help your post-race recovery!!
BCRR Member Cost: $10 & Guest Cost: $15

WEEKLY CLUB RUNS:
Mellow Monday- Join us every Monday for a 3 mile recovery run around Memorial Park at 7:00 PM. Runners who are interested should park on the east side of the parking lot in front of the softball fields off of the Picnic Loop. Following a loop around Memorial, we head to a dinner venue for post running fun.
Wednesday at Rice University: Every Wednesday evening we meet at 6:30 PM at Rice University (run leaves at 6:40 PM sharp!). All levels are welcome. And the best part is the cheap beer at Valhalla afterwards. Parking is available at First Christian Church/School (1628 Rice Boulevard).
To park in the church parking lot, you need a BCRR bumper sticker. Please see Lisa Thompson for a sticker if you do not already have one.
Friday Speedwork (Memorial Park 5:30 AM): Contact Peter Griffiths for more information-  p_griffiths@bellsouth.net
Sunday Long Run (Memorial Park, 6:30 AM): Meet us at the Tennis Center (Old 0 Mile Marker) for a 10, 11, or 12 mile route around Memorial Park and through River Oaks. Immediately following the run, join us Whole Foods for coffee and conversation.
**Please note that in cases of inclement weather, i.e. thunder & lightning, group runs will be cancelled for safety reasons. Check the BCRR Facebook Page for the latest updates on run cancellations**
