Road Kill XC Relay

When: Saturday, September 28, 8AM

Where: Bear Creek Park

Gird your loins for the annual fall 4 X 2-mile cross-country relay. First race of the HARRA Fall Series. BCRR pays for teams (all runners must be current BCRR and HARRA members).

Alex's 5K & Kids' K - November 2, 2024

Registration is now open for the 14th annual edition of our race. Thanks to all of you, we have raised over $230,000 for autism charities over the last 13 years! We raised $27,000 from last year's race alone! We are confident - with your help - that we can do even better this year!

NEW: Due to the upcoming construction at MacGregor Park, we will be staging the race from a new venue: Avondale House (3737 O’Meara Drive, Houston, Texas 77025)

Avondale House is one of our beneficiaries and was Alex's school. Stay tuned for more details.

Monday 7PM: Mellow Monday. Memorial Park Tennis Center. (Dinner after!)

Wednesday 6:30PM: Run from First Christian Church Parking lot. Socialize at Valhalla after.

Friday 7:00PM: HAPPY HOUR, West Alabama Ice House. 1919 W Alabama St Houston, TX 77098

SUNDAY LONG RUN CHOICES:

Sunday 6:30AM: BCRR Bayou Long Run from the Tennis Center at Memorial Park. Breakfast at Whole Foods on Waugh.

Sunday 6:30AM: BARC's Trail Run & Space City 10-Miler Kickoff. Join BARC for their run on Seabrook Trails followed by breakfast feast prepared by our own June Harris.

7 pm at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 3 mile casual paced run around the Park and dinner to follow

Wednesday Run

6:30 pm at First Christian Church for a 3-6 mile run around Rice University and Hermann Park followed by drinks at Valhalla

Friday Speedwork

5:30 am at Memorial Park Running Center. Contact Peter Griffiths for more info

Sunday Long Run

6:30 am at Memorial Park Tennis Center (trail in front of Center) for a 10-12 mile supported run w/ water at 2 locations followed by breakfast at Whole Foods in Montrose (701 Waugh Dr., Houston, TX 77019)
