Last Week for Early Bird Membership Renewal  Save $5 Thru June 30th Note: All memberships expire on June 30, 2025 unless you have already renewed during our Early Bird period. If you joined or renewed after 4/1/25 your membership is good for the upcoming running year (thru June 30, 2026).   If not, renew now and be good through 6/30/26!  Save $5 on memberships for the upcoming year. If you are a current HARRA member, you will save an additional $5 off your BCRR Membership (that's $10 off)! Prices increase on July 1st, 2025. BCRR MEMBERSHIP

Valhalla Calling! 9th Bar Tab in a Row We're streaking! For the last 8 weeks, the beer tab at Valhalla after the Wednesday run has been supported either by generous members or by the club. This is a record! (And a shout out to Stacy Smith and Hong Tang who sponsored the last 2 weeks!)    The streak continues this Wednesday. Charlie Schaub will be sponsoring in celebration of his birthday...and it may not be the only birthday we will be celebrating 👶. Thanks Charlie!   But there's more! This year is the 35th Anniversary of BCRR at Valhalla! We plan to have a special gathering to celebrate later in the summer. Stay tuned! ­

Members on the Run

More BCRR Overachiever Road Trip Results:   Boston: Congrats to Lisa Thompson for her 2nd place finish as an invited runner in the BAA 10K Para T11-T13 Division with a time of 50:10. Avi Moss was 5th in his very competitive age group (M60-64) with a time of 44:24. RESULTS   Vancouver: Eivind Østerhus was 13th (M55-59) with a time of 1:37:37, and Leyla Østerhus was 8th (F50-54) with 1:41:48 in the Vancover Half Marathon on Sunday. The HARRA Spring Runner of the Season (RotS) results have been finalized. The following BCRR members placed in the top 3 in their division and will receive a cash prize! Payout is:1st place $120, 2nd place $105, and 3rd place $95. (Winners please email treasurer@harra.org to arrange payment. Happy Hour - Patterson Park Our next Happy Hour will be on Friday, June 27th  at Patterson Park, 2205 Patterson St, Houston, TX 77007. We will be there at approximately 6:30PM. ­ Sunday Hydration Support Thank you to Mirna Chang and Loris Fusi for setting out the water and Gatorade last weekend.                                             🥛🥛🥛   Who likes water during the Sunday long runs? Weekly Club Runs

Mellow Monday 7 pm at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 3 mile casual paced run around the Park and dinner to follow	Wednesday Run 6:30 pm at First Christian Church for a 3-6 mile run around Rice University and Hermann Park followed by drinks at Valhalla	Friday Speedwork 5:30 am at Memorial Park Running Center. Contact Peter Griffiths for more info	Sunday Long Run 6:30 am at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 10-12 mile supported run w/ water at 2 locations followed by breakfast at Whole Foods in Montrose (701 Waugh Dr Houston, TX 77019)
