Valhalla Tab Streak Continues!

Last week we celebrated the births of Lucy Bongiorno and Avi Moss. Thanks Tom and Avi for the tab and pizza!    We continue our streak this week with a tab sponsored by Morgan Halvorsen!   This will be the 14th consecutive tab at Valhalla!

Save the Date: HARRA's Party in the Park - Aug 9 ­

Join BCRR at HARRA's Annual Party in the Park! This FREE event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 9th from 7 am to 10am just west of the Tennis Center at Memorial Park.  Free watermelon, water, beer, music, massages, club tents and more. Get your run in, stop by and say hello. We will have the BCRR/Alex's 5k tent at the event. Stop by and say hi! Volunteer for a shift at the tent to help promote BCRR and Alex's 5K (contact houstonbcrr@gmail.com).    Susan Cita will be in charge of organizing the event for HARRA and will also need volunteers to help set up, tear down, and for food service. No Happy Hour This Week Our next Happy Hour will be on Friday, Aug. 8th  at West Alabama Ice House, 1919 W Alabama St, Houston, TX 77098. We will be there at approximately 6:30PM. ­ Sunday Hydration Support Thank you to Kathi Mahon and Mirna Chang for setting out the water and Gatorade last weekend.                                             🥛🥛🥛   Who likes water during the Sunday long runs? Weekly Club Runs

Mellow Monday 7 pm at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 3 mile casual paced run around the Park and dinner to follow	Wednesday Run 6:30 pm at First Christian Church for a 3-6 mile run around Rice University and Hermann Park followed by drinks at Valhalla	Friday Speedwork 5:30 am at Memorial Park Running Center. Contact Peter Griffiths for more info	Sunday Long Run 6:30 am at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 10-12 mile supported run w/ water at 2 locations followed by breakfast at Whole Foods in Montrose (701 Waugh Dr Houston, TX 77019)
