BCRR Holiday Party - Friday, December 19, 7:00PM - Chuck & Cheryl's House - Details Below John's Loooong Run - Sunday, December 21 - Sue & Alan's House- details TBA ­ XMAS Lights Run THIS Wednesday Dec 10th, 6:30PM Join us at the Rose Garden on Lazy Lane for our annual community run/walk (~4 miles) to view the lights in River Oaks. Dress festively and conspicuously (i.e. wear lights and reflective clothing). For safety, please keep children with you.  Remember: No Parking at the Rose Garden! Give yourself time to find a place to park! Downloadable Map and Strava Link of the route.   We will be collaborating with HARRA and inviting everyone in the running community again this year, so spread the word!   We will convene at Kenneally's Irish Pub afterwards for drinks, food and door prizes!  (photo: J. When: This Saturday, December 13th, 3-6PM Where: Lisa Thompson's place, (Check weekly email for address)  Please RSVP to Lisa lisa@modernbb.com  if you plan to attend. ­ SUNDAY: Coach Andy's 30K & 10K HARRA Fall Series Race ­ For the 2nd year, the Houston Harriers will present the 30K, the penultimate race in the HARRA Fall Series. The race will be held in Sugar Land and will feature a 10K in addition to the 30K.  Look for the BCRR Tent!   The race is part of the Marathon Warmup Series, which includes the Space City 10-Miler, the Houston Half Marathon and the HMSA 25K. It will also be the last selection race for the Chevron Houston Marathon Local Elite Program. SIGN UP ­ BCRR Holiday Party - Friday, Dec. 19 When: December 19, 2025 - 7PM  Where: Home of Cheryl Verlander & Chuck Bracht, Check your weekly email for address.  What: Our Annual Holiday Party!  RSVP AND SAVE! Cost if you RSVP by Wednesday, Dec. 17th: FREE for members; $15 for their non-member guests; $30 for Non-members (includes BCRR Membership). Kids Free. At the Door with no RSVP: $10 for members; $20 for their non-member guests; $35 for non-members (includes BCRR Membership). Kids Free. (Cash, check or Venmo accepted)   Dress: Seasonally Festive - sequined ball gowns, ugly sweaters, or Xmas pajamas all acceptable attire.     Special Welcome Cocktail! -  Mexican Food (grilled on site; meat and vegetarian options)! -  Wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks (feel free to bring a bottle to share)! -  Special Giveaways! Everyone's a winner!   This is an adult party; however, kids are welcome and a babysitter will be provided. The residence has an outdoor pool where food is being served.
