No Official Supported Long Run  Wednesday: Valhalla Tab - Caryn Honig and Poppy's Run for Life! Friday: Happy Hour - West Alabama Ice House! HARRA Fall Runner of the Season Results Posted! Spring Race Schedule! ­ ­ Volunteer for the Rocket's Run - This Sunday! What: Rockets Run   When: Sunday, February 15, 2026, ~6AM   Where: Toyota Center. (Joe Sellers: Course Director.)   BCRR has provided course support for this race for 24 years! This is a revenue-generating activity for our club, so please help support. We need helpers for course setup, road guards and other positions of responsibility on the course. A few lucky people get to help on the floor of the Toyota Center with the cheerleaders/dancers. There will be donuts! VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE 2 FREE ROCKETS TICKETS!   SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER HERE! ­ Poppy's Run at Valhalla Wednesday! The tab at Valhalla this Wednesday will be generously sponsored by Caryn Honig. Caryn is not only a BCRR member but also the founder and  director of Poppy's Run For Life 5k, dedicated to suicide prevention and awareness. Caryn founded Poppy's after the loss of her father and grandfather to suicide. The race takes place on Sunday March 8th at Hennessey Park (next to Saint Arnold's). Join the BCRR Team when you sign up for the race! This will be the 39th week of supported Valhalla tabs! The run, as always starts at 6:30PM sharp from the parking lot of the First Christian Church. Poppy's Run for Life ­ HARRA RotS: Check Out Your Stats! The HARRA - Houston Area Road Runners Association Runner of the Season (RotS) calculations have been updated to include the final race in the HARRA Fall Series: the Houston Marathon. If you are a HARRA member in good standing, have a look to see how you stand and note any corrections or omissions. Note that your individual time in the relay now counts in scoring.   Please send any corrections to Hans (info@harra.org). We provide needed course support on race day. We truly appreciate everyone who gives of their time to help out on these races. We will be there about 6:30PM ­ Sunday Hydration Support Thank you to Scott Bounds and Charlie Schaub for setting out the water and Gatorade for our long run this weekend.                                                      🥛🥛🥛  Who likes water during the Sunday long runs? Our Sunday morning hydration team could use a your help. Please contact Loris at Loris0105@yahoo.com for more information on how to volunteer! ­ Weekly Club Runs Mellow Monday 7 pm at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 3 mile casual paced run around the Park and dinner to follow Wednesday Run 6:30 pm at First Christian Church for a 3-6 mile run around Rice University and Hermann Park followed by drinks at Valhalla Friday Speedwork 5:30 am at Memorial Park Running Center.
