| BCRR Runs the world! | Hong Tang finishes Big Bear Lake! Recap from his Facebook: Last year, I was cut off at the final aid station. Last night, I finally crossed the finish line at Big Bear Lake! Despite
battling blisters and GI issues, I managed to finish the toughest
footrace I’ve ever attempted: 63 miles, 10,000 feet of elevation gain,
and 19 hours and 30 minutes of nonstop effort. As one volunteer said, “When your body stops working, your mind keeps you going.” That couldn’t have been more true! | |

Stage 2 - Oct 15 — Rally Pavilion - Memorial Park UPDATED location!!
Stage 3- Oct 22 — White Oak / Stude Park | Harvest Marathon Relay benefitting Houston Food Bank | BCRR Runners, On
Sunday, November 1 there is a great opportunity to support the Houston
Food Bank while RUNNING! The Houston Food Bank will be sponsoring a
fundraising Relay Marathon, and BCRR is going to sponsor two or three teams
of 12-13 persons each ($1000 total paid by BCRR), so we just need
runners! If we can gather 12-13 people per team to run 2-2.25 miles
each (1/4 mile at a time) we can do a good deed for the Houston Food
Bank, and get some good PR for BCRR, and have a lot of fun doing it! Please let me know if you are interested in helping out.
The Relay Marathon is Sunday, November 1, at 7:00am, on the Wendell D.
Ley Track at Rice University. I hope that you will join us! Steve Please email BCRR Prez Steve Hasson if you are interested! | | | Alex's 5K is around the corner! | | This will be the 16th annual edition of our race.
