­ HARRA PARTY IN THE PARK 8-3-24 ­

Saturday, August 3rd, 7-10AM - Memorial Park ­ ­ HARRA's Annual Party in the Park is only 2 weeks away!    This FREE event will take place from 7 am to 10am just west of the Tennis Center and features free watermelon, water, beer, music, massages, club tents and more. Get your run in, stop by and say hello.   PARTY IN THE PARK DETAILS   BCRR will have our tent in a strategically prominent place at the event - close to the action (and the food and Saint Arnold beer)! We will be giving away some Alex's 5K and BCRR swag. A good opportunity to purchase an new BCRR singlet ($20) or a vintage shirt from our extensive collection ($5).   Volunteer for a shift at the BCRR tent and help promote the club and Alex's 5K to other runners. NEW BCRR Singlets Available! We have a new batch of BCRR singlets! These singlets are a lightweight grid fabric like the last order and available in men's and women's sizes for a mere $20! Perfect for this weather!    Kathi Mahon will have them on Wednesdays post run at Valhalla and by arrangement on Sunday at start of long run (contact her at houstonbcrr@gmail.com to arrange as she may not be there every time).   We accept cash, check, credit card or Venmo.

Weekly Club Runs

Mellow Monday 7 pm at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 3 mile casual paced run around the Park and dinner to follow	Wednesday Run 6:30 pm at First Christian Church for a 3-6 mile run around Rice University and Hermann Park followed by drinks at Valhalla	Friday Speedwork 5:30 am at Memorial Park Running Center. Contact Peter Griffiths for more info	Sunday Long Run 6:30 am at Memorial Park Tennis Center (on trail in front of Center) for a 10-12 mile supported run w/ water at 2 locations followed by breakfast at Whole Foods in Montrose (701 Waugh Dr Houston, TX 77019)
