In the list of acknowledgements last week, two very important volunteers were inadvertently missed. Joe and Hope Sellers
were instrumental for the success of the event this year (and every
year). They provide the sound system, music, and finish line support.
Joe serves as emcee for the event and Hope is chief cat-herder. We
couldn't do this without them! We also want to give a special shout out to all who volunteer for BOAT SHED duty! John Phillips is the Keeper of the Boat Shed, and arguably has the longest day on race day: picking up the equipment at 11:30AM and returning after 7:30PM!
